Drawing and guessing
One of you draws on their screen, the rest guess. Whatever you draw always has something to do with the place where you’re standing.
ten games across the city Ten games in ten special places in the old town. As a family you play together, with friends you play against each other.
At every place a game is waiting: drawing, guessing, estimating, finding your way back. Meanwhile you see the whole city, and at every stop you hear the story that goes with it.

Two of you or twenty: everyone plays every game, each on their own phone or sharing one. Every stop is a game in a special place, and there’s a bit of everything — drawing on your screen, spotting differences, estimating heights, leading each other astray.
The places are never chosen at random. They’re spots where something remarkable once happened, and at every stop you hear the story that goes with it.
“Somehow you end up seeing the whole city, without it ever feeling like a guided tour.”
— what an afternoon looks like
Ten games, all different, and all about the place you’re standing in at that moment. A few examples:
One of you draws on their screen, the rest guess. Whatever you draw always has something to do with the place where you’re standing.
An old city gate and a photo of it: what no longer matches? You’re standing right in front of it, so looking closely helps.
Stretch the church tower on your screen to the height you think it has. Who gets closest?
Step out of a shop and already forgotten where you came from? Now it’s a game, and it’s all down to your sense of direction.
Everyone joins in on every game, each on their own phone or sharing one. An eight-year-old and a father of forty are busy with the same game, and just as good at it as each other.
Every city has its own story, told piece by piece as you walk. Each location adds a new little chapter, until at the end you find out how it all turns out.
As a family you play as one team: every stop adds a piece to your map, and what goes on it is yours to choose. With friends everyone plays for their own score, and at the end the result is up on the leaderboard.
We’re starting in Amersfoort, with more cities on the way.

Ten stops right through the old centre, past the Koppelpoort, the Muurhuizen and the Lange Jan tower, with the story of a shoemaker who took on a bet. In two versions: together as a family, or against each other with friends.
See Amersfoort →We’re working on new cities, each with its own route, its own games and its own story.
As a family, everyone has made their own map by the end, with the route you walked and, at every place, something you chose yourselves — a keepsake of the game, the spot, and what once happened there. With friends, the result is up on the leaderboard at the end, and you’ll still be talking about it for the rest of the evening.
"every map is different, just like every afternoon."
The route is about 2 km, with ten stops. You can do it all in an hour and a half; with a terrace along the way it is closer to two.
The games are made to work as well with two players as with twenty. Playing on your own works too, though it isn’t what the tour was built for — the games turn on what happens between you. With small teams, some games add attempts from other players so the guessing doesn’t get too easy.
They can, but they don’t have to. Several players on one phone works too: you pass it around during the games, and that way everyone plays every game.
Once the tour is downloaded in the app, it works entirely without internet. The one thing that needs a connection is playing together on several phones: share one phone between you, or set up a hotspot so the other phones get online through it.
Data usage is low: count on roughly 2 MB per tour per phone.
We recommend age 8 and up: from there, children take part fully. Younger kids can join in too, especially if they enjoy games.
Right now in Amersfoort, in two versions: as a family or with friends. We’re working on more cities, each with its own route and its own story.
